Gold Note Arrives

Exciting news for us here at The Audio Room, the arrival of Gold Note. True Italian excellence is here. 

 

Some of you we know are already familiar with this excellent HiFi brand. They are the creators of all things audio including sources both analogue and digital, amplifiers and loudspeakers. Gold Note's sound can be summed up by clean, smooth and neutral but always engagingly musical! 

 

For all vinyl lovers some of the stars of the show are the phono stages from Gold Note. We have the PH-5 and PH-10 on demonstration, getting great results with our Rega and Linn turntables. The PH-10 features some nice options including three EQ curves (RIAA, Decca London & American Columbia), an intuitive touchscreen and a plethora of loading options for moving coil cartridges. I should point out black, silver and wait for it... gold are available as finishes! 

 

For digital playback there are CD players and streamers. The very cute CD-10 packs a punch at its price point featuring a tray loading mechanism and Japanese manufactured AKM DAC. This high performance half width product can deliver a richly detailed sound that is ever engaging. Combined with the IS-10 you have a great high performance two box system which adds streaming too.
