The Nordost QBASE QB6 UK mk III is an outstanding mains distribution block, providing a solid foundation for any high-performance two-channel audio system. It’s engineered to deliver clean, stable power to your components, ensuring they perform at their peak potential.
Utilising Nordost’s unique star-earth topology, the QBASE addresses the common issue of electrical noise caused by conflicting signal and ground paths in Hi-Fi systems. This innovative design links all outlets to a single central point, raising the ground impedance on every outlet except the “Primary Earth.” This passive method creates a smooth, uninterrupted power flow to each component, isolates them from one another to prevent interference, and eliminates noise. All without relying on filters or active electronics.
Crafted with a mechanically tuned, extruded aluminium body and high-quality, durable connectors, the mk III model is built for longevity. Its dual-level circuit boards separate ground connections from live and neutral traces, significantly reducing interference and crosstalk.
